Cómo limpiar los muebles lacados: cuidados básicos
Ya estemos hablando de un solo mueble o de un dormitorio juvenil completo, la mejor manera de mantener los muebles lacados como nuevos empieza por la prevención. Alejar los muebles de las zonas calientes, como los radiadores, para que no se “reseque” demasiado la laca y no queden marcas de quemaduras es algo fundamental.
Si el mueble es blanco, no debe dejarse expuesto constantemente a la luz solar porque, con el tiempo, puede cambiar a un tono amarillento o volverse opaco.
Para que los muebles lacados se mantengan brillantes y como nuevos, lo mejor es utilizar un jabón neutro o un detergente suave. Aplícalo mezclado con agua y límpialo rápidamente con un paño seco para que recupere su brillo.
Otro producto recomendado que, además de la limpieza, cuidará su superficie es la glicerina líquida, que se puede aplicar en masa con un paño suave o de microfibra y luego dejar secar para que se mantenga el brillo original del mueble.
Cómo limpiar los muebles lacados con máquinas localizadas
En muchos casos, se producen manchas muy reales por el mismo uso. En este caso, saber cómo limpiar los muebles lacados con máquinas es esencial si queremos mantenerlos impecables.
Si, debido a la exposición al sol, los muebles se han vuelto amarillos, es aconsejable eliminar esa tonalidad con peróxido de hidrógeno, abrillantador universal o limpiador de cepillos. Podemos frotarlo durante unos minutos, secarlo bien y luego pulirlo con un paño seco para que recupere su brillo.
Si el mueble se ha vuelto opaco, hay que preparar una mezcla de esencia de trementina y aceite de linaza, extenderla con un paño limpio sobre la superficie y luego frotarla con otro paño seco.
Las rayas de los lápices o bolígrafos pueden ser habituales sobre todo si tenemos niños en casa. Puedes humedecer un paño limpio con alcohol y frotar enérgicamente sobre la mancha hasta que no quede ningún rastro. Puede que tengas que hacerlo durante unos minutos y humedecer el paño varias veces hasta que las rayas se borren por completo.
Las manchas de aceite, grasa o de las manos de los niños pueden limpiarse con un paño humedecido en agua y jabón neutro, incluso con amoníaco, teniendo cuidado de pasar siempre otro paño seco y sin pelusas.
Si nos enfrentamos a este tipo de manchas que son indelebles y no se pueden eliminar de ninguna manera, podemos recurrir a lijar la superficie de la mancha con una lija suave y sin presionar demasiado. Lugo podemos volver a lacarlo en el mismo color. En estos casos, es aconsejable contactar con un carpintero o un profesional.
En la limpieza diaria, si sólo quieres quitar el polvo, lo mejor es utilizar un paño húmedo, para poder estar con agua tibia, y luego secarlo con un papel de limpieza suave o un paño de microfibra para evitar las marcas de humedad y darle brillo.
Sin embargo, en muchas ocasiones hay marcas de dedos que limpiando de forma regular, vuelven a aparecer. Para ello utilizaremos la misma técnica del agua caliente, salvo que añadamos un poco de amoníaco. Luego tendremos que secarlo de la misma manera. Es importante, si utilizamos amoníaco, mantener las ventanas abiertas para asegurar una buena ventilación.
Con todos estos consejos y cuidados, tus muebles lacados parecerán siempre nuevos.
